The Beginning

It all started when an entrepreneur with a vision to decarbonize economies met a pioneering battery engineering scientist, who had developed the finest battery materials which can be used for EV’s and ESS. The driving force behind the idea to start an advanced battery material company lies in the belief of potential technology, a guaranteed supply of raw material and a desired to be at the forefront of making a significant impact in the supply of battery material solutions, in a rapidly evolving world.

Since 2018, we have been dedicated to perfecting the art and science of advanced battery materials, towards a clean energy transition.

Today we are a global leading manufacturer of high-quality and high-performance advanced battery materials (Anode & Cathode) for EV and ESS applications. Epsilon is on a mission to support the global battery materials supply chain and contribution to sustainable electric mobility ecosystem.

“Our mission at Epsilon Advanced Materials, is to provide high-quality, high-performance advanced battery materials solutions for both anode & cathode through we provide high-performance battery material solutions through a sustainable global supply chain. With manufacturing facilities in India, the US, and Finland, we ensure responsible manufacturing while delivering cost-effective and efficient technologies for a cleaner future.

Our journey started with advanced research in anode manufacturing which resulted in India’s 1st customer qualification plant EAM- ONE in Karnataka India, which caters to our global supply qualification.

With up scale manufacturing facility planned in India, the USA & Finland we are localising the manufacturing to supply the EV & ESS battery supply chain.

Our venture in Cathode materials makes Epsilon the first global company of providing active anode & Cathode materials for Lithium-ion batteries. We are honoured to make India the first country in Asia outside China to manufacture LFP & LFMP Cathode materials.
